Public Transit

Pocatello Regional Transit (PRT) is the transit provider for the Pocatello/Chubbuck urbanized area.  PRT has been providing transit services to the urban area for over thirty-years.

Pocatello Regional Transit services include fixed routes, demand response, and commuter services.

Fixed Routes services

  • Specific route and time schedule
  • No eligibility criteria
  • Service hours 6:00 am to 6:00 pm

Demand Response

  • Door to door service
  • specific eligibility criteria
  • Service hours 6:00 am to 6:00 pm

Long Range Transit Plan

In 2009 a Long Range Transit Plan was developed for Pocatello Regional Transit.   This plan took a twenty year look at changing population centers and technology to establish a future direction for transit services within the urban area.  Read more ….
